By booking a session, purchasing a service, or using any resources provided by Ryan Scott Career Coaching ("Coach", "we", "us"), you ("Client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree to these terms, do not book or purchase services.

Ryan Scott Career Coaching provides professional career coaching, resume writing, and career development services, including but not limited to:

2.1 Individual Coaching Sessions

One-on-one coaching sessions conducted via video call or phone. Standard rate is $100 per hour. Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement and confirmed upon payment.

2.2 Coaching Package

A bundled package consisting of three (3) coaching sessions and one (1) resume rewrite, priced at $380. This package must be used within six (6) months of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.3 Resume Rewrite / New Resume

Professional resume writing or rewriting services, priced at $100. This service includes one (1) revision round. Additional revisions may be available at the Coach's discretion.

2.4 Extended Coaching Packages

Custom multi-session coaching packages are available for clients with longer-term goals. Pricing and terms are determined on a case-by-case basis. To inquire, contact the Coach via email or LinkedIn message before purchasing.

2.5 Discounts and Reduced Rates

The following discounted rates may be available at the Coach's discretion:

• Friends and Family Referral Discount: Clients referred by a former client or family member of the Coach may qualify for a reduced rate. Inquire at the time of booking.
• College Student Discount: Current college students enrolled at partner institutions may qualify for reduced pricing. Enrollment verification may be required. Inquire at the time of booking.

Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions and are subject to availability. The Coach reserves the right to modify or discontinue discount programs at any time.

All coaching sessions are conducted via video call (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) or phone. Session links and logistics will be provided upon booking confirmation.

Free 15-Minute Consultation: New clients may schedule a complimentary 15-minute introductory call at no charge. This consultation is intended to determine whether the coaching relationship is a good fit and does not constitute a coaching session. No commitment is required from either party.

Scheduling requests are subject to Coach availability. Appointment confirmation will be sent by email. Please ensure the contact information you provide is accurate and monitored.

We understand that schedules change. The following policy applies to all paid sessions:

• Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session will be rescheduled at no charge or refunded in full.
• Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the session are eligible for rescheduling only. No refund will be issued.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session, or no-shows without prior notice, will forfeit the session fee. No refund or rescheduling will be provided.
• The Coach reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full reschedule will be offered at the Client's convenience.

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. Services will not be rendered until payment has been received and confirmed.

Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking. All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD). Ryan Scott Career Coaching is a sole proprietorship based in Washington State; applicable taxes will be applied as required by law.

For extended packages, payment plans may be available by prior written agreement. Failure to maintain agreed payment installments may result in suspension of services.

Due to the personalized and time-intensive nature of career coaching and resume services, all sales are generally final. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis under the following conditions:

• A full refund will be issued if the Coach cancels a session and cannot reschedule within a reasonable timeframe.
• A full refund will be issued for cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance (see Section 4).
• Resume services: If the Coach has not yet begun work, a full refund may be issued upon request. Once work has begun, refunds are not available. One (1) round of revisions is included in the resume rewrite price.
• Coaching packages: No refunds will be issued once any session within the package has been completed.

To request a refund, contact the Coach directly at the email address listed in Section 15. Refund requests will be reviewed within five (5) business days.

Career coaching is a professional development service. The Coach is not a licensed therapist, counselor, attorney, financial advisor, or medical professional. Coaching is not a substitute for professional mental health support, legal counsel, or medical advice.

The Coach will provide guidance, strategy, feedback, and accountability based on professional experience in Talent, Human Resources, and Recruiting. However, the Coach makes no guarantee of specific outcomes including, but not limited to, job placement, salary increases, interview success, or career advancement. Results depend substantially on the effort, circumstances, and decisions of the Client.

The Client is responsible for implementing coaching advice and making their own informed decisions. The Coach is a partner and guide, not a decision-maker on the Client's behalf.

The Coach will treat all personal and professional information shared by the Client as confidential. Information shared during coaching sessions will not be disclosed to third parties without the Client's prior written consent, except as required by law.

Likewise, the Client agrees to treat any proprietary tools, frameworks, templates, or resources shared by the Coach as confidential and for personal use only. These materials may not be shared, resold, or reproduced without explicit written permission from the Coach.

The Coach may request Client testimonials or permission to share success stories for marketing purposes. Participation is entirely voluntary and will only occur with the Client's explicit written consent. Names and identifying information will not be shared without permission.

If you were referred by a former client or family member and wish to inquire about a referral discount, please mention this at the time of booking.

All content, materials, templates, guides, and resources provided by Ryan Scott Career Coaching — including worksheets, guides, the Career Resource Database, and any written content — are the intellectual property of Ryan Scott Career Coaching and are provided for the Client's personal, non-commercial use only.

Clients may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or publicly share Coach-provided materials without prior written consent. Violation of this provision may result in termination of services without refund.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ryan Scott Career Coaching shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of coaching services or materials, including but not limited to lost job opportunities, income loss, or career outcomes.

The Coach's total liability for any claim arising from services rendered shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time with reasonable written notice. If the Client terminates:

• Sessions already completed will be charged at the standard or agreed rate.
• Unused sessions within a package may be refunded on a pro-rated basis at the Coach's discretion, less any sessions already rendered.
• Resume rewrite services that have been started are non-refundable.

The Coach reserves the right to terminate services without refund in the event of disrespectful, abusive, or harassing conduct by the Client.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or the services provided shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Whatcom County, Washington, or through good-faith mediation as agreed by both parties.

Ryan Scott Career Coaching reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

For existing clients mid-package, material changes will be communicated directly via email prior to taking effect.
